Should I Become A Physical Education Teacher?

We Answered:

Sounds like you have what it takes to be a Phys Ed Teacher. The cons, of course, are that teachers don't get paid as well as many other professions, the pros is that when the economy takes a downturn, we don't lose our jobs as quickly as others.

Gene Said:

what are excellent exercise music?

We Answered:

It rather depends on what you are having them do. If they are running, then you want something with a beat that about matches the pace of their feet. If they are doing jumping jacks, something a bit faster. For pushups, something slower.

Sheila Said:

Is there a program to get your masters and certification in Physical Education?

We Answered:

I'm certain that it must be, but I would be inclined to email as many colleges/ universities as you can to ask this question of them.

Hope this helps

Naomi Said:

Physical Therapy or Elementary Education/Teaching as a major?

We Answered:

Physical therapy pays more than teaching does, and society values physical therapists more than it does teachers. Both jobs involve working with people. It depends on what you enjoy doing. It would probably be hard for you to volunteer in a clinic or hospital setting, but you could volunteer in an elementary classroom. That would help you decide if elementary teaching is an interest you want to pursue.
